My name is Isy Weng. I am a visdev artist interested in exploring light and color to tell narratives. To me, visual storytelling is more than just a story: Human experience, by its nature, is vast, multifaceted, and deeply personal. When conveyed through words alone, these experiences are often distilled into abstraction, stripped of some of their immediacy and sensory richness. Visual storytelling, however, serves as a powerful means of bridging this gap: it transforms the abstract into something tangible and emotionally resonant. It allows audiences to see rather than simply imagine—creating a direct, visceral connection to the story.
